Well, last week was terrible. I have to be honest on this blog and it was just a no good, lousy week. I am just now getting around to the update, mostly because Staci and I have finally had some good rest.
The trouble started with Jack last weekend, he was sick on Saturday then Sam was sick on Monday. He was supposed to start his new class with Miss Cynthia on Monday but that didn't happen. I took him to the doc for the first time last week, on Monday. The diagnosis was ear infection and sinus infection. Ok, but what about the cough? Well, that is reactive airway disease. Good grief, that sounds terrible. Apparently everytime the poor kid gets a sinus or ear infection he will also develop this nasty hacking cough. So, Dr. Hart put him on an antibiotic, a steroid (awful) and Zyrtec.
The steroid turned the child inside out- soooooo moody!
So, one week, 5 prescriptions and many coughs later, here we are. Finally back to "normal."
Those are the weeks that you just have to grit your teeth and keep going!
Sam had a heroes welcome when I took him to school on Monday however. All of the kids flocked to him..."Sam Sam..come over here and let me show you...." I know that made him feel very good!
So, with that recap, I will now say, GO CELTICS!!!
