So, I missed the cutoff for Fall Soccer registration this year. By the time I started calling around for enrolling Sam, all of the leagues were already full. I was sad and felt like a bad sports Dad.
Well, last Tuesday we were attending one of Sam's friend's games and as we were walking around I noticed this one little team (The Blue Sharks) only had 2 little players...so sad. I asked the coaches if they had some kids who didn't show that evening or if they were short some players on the team. She said that had some openings and that actually, they had a jersey that he could take right then if he wanted to. Well well well, welcome to the team Sambo! This is why I say, it never hurts to ask.
He did great! He played the rest of that game and then made his offical debut on Thursday evening. What a stud....he ran real real fast!
He was worn out by the end of the second quarter however. His endurance isn't built up yet!
