The holidays are fast approaching, so I guess it's time to catch up on the last month before there are too many events to blog about. Sam's birthday was last month. Instead of a big party we decided to take a family trip to our favorite place (within a reasonable driving distance), and headed to Dollywood! We even went to the Dixie Stampede which the boys just LOVED!
On Sunday before we went home we drove by the Dixie Stampede again and took some pictures in the fall hay display. They loved all the pumpkins and giant hay horses. 
Then it was off to the Pancake Pantry for the best breakfast on earth. The line was longer than usual, and we stood in the cold for over an hour. But Tom used the time and got some pics of the boys.
When we got home we had family over for cake and ice cream. I can't believe my baby is already 5 years old! Where has the time gone?
Love this boy so much! He is funny and inquisitive and curious and sensitive, and sometimes too smart for his own good. Sam, you are a blessing to our family and we are so grateful that God gave you to us!
