I'll wash 'em later
We are so proud of little Jack's firmly established pottying skills! He is doing great remembering to use the bathroom (and his aim is getting better little by little). However, we are struggling with our hand washing hygiene. Jack just walked out the bathroom sans clean hands. I reminded him that after using the potty we ALWAYS wash our hands! He oh-so-calmly strolled out and told me, "I'll wash 'em later." Ummmmm not an option. I guess spreading nasty germs and just being all around gross isn't all that meaningful to the little guy. I guess we'll just keep working on it.

These boots were made for walkin'
The boys got Build-A-Bear gift cards from Uncle Lys, Aunt Rae, Cali, and Baby U for Christmas. After a couple of crazy months we finally made the time and had a fun family day (including lunch at Red Robin- we thought of you, Cal). We (I mean they) had a great time. After some indecisiveness- trying to figure out what empty shell to choose to build, Jack chose a tiger, and Sam picked a monkey (fitting I think).

The fluff and dry station was totally captivating for our boys.

And now the hard part... decisions, decisions. We went back and forth over and over again.
Sam finally dressed his monkey (named Chee Chee) as a football player.
Jack dressed his tiger as a fire fighter and then decided on the name- "Fire."

It was so much fun. It was a great family day. Thanks Lys, Rae, Cali, and 'U.' It was a great gift.

You decide

More things they say.....
Sam: "ackally" (He uses 'actually' properly it's just that he doesn't say it quite right- sounds cute though)
Jack: "Hey, Mom, can I sleep on the couch?" (WHAT???? Tom does not sleep on the couch at night nor does anyone else in our home. Where does he come up with this stuff?)
Sam: "My tummy hurts, but it's from the carrots. Cookies don't hurt my tummy though. (Riiiiiight!)
Sam: "Dad gave this to me, supposedly to use it at my desk." (Supposedly? For real?)
Jack: "I'm a super hero!" (every hour of every day).
Jack: "What's your name?" (to every man, woman, boy, and girl that may cross his path in any, and I do mean ANY environment)
Sam: "I just got carried away." (enough said)
